a community that addressess a concern for challenges in sciences and the relationships of science to society
Science in Society is a community brought together to address a common concern for disciplinary and interdisciplinary challenges in the sciences, and in particular the relationships of science to society. The community interacts through an innovative, annual face-to-face conference, as well as year-round virtual relationships in a weblog, peer reviewed journal and book imprint – exploring the affordances of the new digital media. Members of this knowledge community include academics, scientists, social scientists, university managers, science administrators, policy makers, researchers and research students.
