a large-scale multi-method narrative research on an accute and hot topic
The Guardian and the London School of Economics, supported by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Open Society Foundations, are in the midst of conducting a large-scale narrative research into the riots last summer. Reading the Riots is an interesting example of researching publics. Researching publics, one of the cornerstones of the [campus]OrléoN research program "Making society public", regards research by a public, but research of a public as well.
